Antenatal Support
This is where our journey begins.
Bump and Baby offers routine antenatal appointments throughout your pregnancy. This includes a first detailed appointment and a birthing plan later in the pregnancy. The baby's heartbeat will be checked at every appointment.
Recommended blood test and ultrasound referrals will be completed and reviewed as well as any pregnancy related scripts for medication if needed.
Most first-time parents will need between 10 to 12 visits and between 7 to 10 for subsequent pregnancies.
Antenatal appointments will be in the comfort of your own home with afterhours options to give opportunities for both parents to attend.
Antenatal Shared Care
At Bump and Baby there is an opportunity to have shared care with the Lyell McEwin Hospital. Therefore, having the continuity and women-centred antenatal care with myself and then birth at the Lyell McEwin Hospital. (Care options for women who would like to deliver at Women's and Children's Hospital can also be provided).
Your first appointment can be at Lyell McEwin or Modbury Hospital and then scheduled routine antenatal appointments during your pregnancy to be completed in the comfort of your own home.
Certain appointments may need to be at Lyell McEwin Hospital with an Obstetrician.

If you have any concerns or questions in your pregnancy that cannot wait for your regular appointment Phone consults are available. Between the hours of 8:30am and 7pm you can call for a conversation with me to answer any questions.
Communication can also be done by text message and I will return your call as soon as possible.
